Clearbox does not automatically refund money. Refund status may auto-send after you review shadow mode — only when Shopify already recorded a refund. Issuing a refund stays an agent in the sidebar, with order lookup and an audit trail.

If the customer asks where their refund is, and Shopify already has a recorded refund, Pro can auto-send that status reply after shadow review—same opt-in as WISMO. Issuing a new refund, exchange, or cancel stays a human in the sidebar. Auto-send is never on by default.
